I am sorry that the highlights of your special day were... a crave cupcake and a chance to hold your baby sister! But I promise a party with all your little friends when Macy gets home!
I looked through many poems online for you, but none of them fully express my love for you! You make my heart smile every single day! You are the apple of your daddy's eye. Your brother Tommy thanks Heavenly Father for you each and every day! You are a joy to our family and we love you more than words can say!!!

i found your blog through another ds blog I just found. I have a daughter with ds who is turning 3 this month and looking at these new born pictures of your sweet new angel, I wanted to be back there with her as a newborn! Enjoy her! A friend of mine who has a son with downs, told me when my daughter was born that the most important thing to remember is that she is a baby just like any other and to enjoy it! Because of the ds sometimes they stay a little more like babies for longer and I loved that with my BRee! She is doing SO well now and she brings so much joy to our family! I get teary and emotional reading and talking about these blessings! You will be so grateful she is part of your family!
Happy birthday, sweet girl! My son turned 2 also when we were in the NICU with our daughter ... such a trying time and so hard to be pulled in so many directions. :(
