I'm a lucky girl!!!

Macy had her surgery today and I will post about that with photos tomorrow. But tonight I want to talk about these three amazing women (and their husbands too!)

They are another IMPORTANT reason why my family is doing okay!! These three woman have NO LIMIT to what they will do for me! It's CRAZY!!! They know me better than anyone and put up with me anyway!

Today while Barry and I sat at the hospital filled with anticipation... these girls played hero for us.

Kira (the girl on the left) and her hubby rescued our poor neglected puppy Zoe and gave her some much needed love and attention! They still have her right now and offered to have her sleep at their house.

Rachel (in the middle) watched my daughter Kyla from 7 am till 10 pm. No complaints, no problems!! That is a long day! But every time I call her she says, everything is great! Kyla is happy! This is music to my ears!

Christy (on the right) had Tommy sleep over last night, got him on the bus today and than watched him after school until 10 pm. This included her husband coaching Tommy's basketball team tonight since Barry couldn't be there. Tommy and her son a BEST BUDS!

This is just a TINY idea of how much they have done for me!! I am truly BLESSED and don't trust my kids with ANYONE more than I do with them! Thank You ladies. I love you and I could not do this without you... and Barry seconds that! We are thinking of a big surprise for you all!

I have the greatest best friends in the world!

Possessed...

I admit.... I have been possessed by all my "crafty" friends. Me, a not so creative person has been immersed in craft supplies! Can you believe it! Haha. It's fun to watch the chaos fly past my head while I remain focused on this project! Chaos you say? Well... Here is a list

1. I washed, then dryed a whole load of laundry with two ink pens.... that exploded! Luckily only 7 articles need to be treated and they were mine and kylas.
2. My house needs some serious attention. Especially because kyla loves to take all the soil out of the plant, spead the Q-tips around the bathroom, and repeadedly empty her hair box, my make-up bag and jewelry box!
3. I am watching my 3 nephews this weekend so I have to prepare for that. Which isn't such a bad thing!
4. and than theres a little something else I can't talk about :) She reads this blog!!!

So, It's great to have a distraction! But... I can't post pics till tomorrow! Shh.... It's a surprise!

Two brains = NOT always enough!!!

I pulled up to my friends house the other day to pick her up and found her sitting in her driveway with a look of utter frustration! She was surrounded by car seat parts and looked close to tears :) She informed me that her husband took her son's car seat to work and that she was trying to assemble another one that can be used as forward or backward facing. She was so confused with how to assemble it. To make a long story short...I jumped in to help build it. Meanwhile, tommy grabbed my camera and started snapping pictures. Here is where the story begins...
The dreaded car seat... I actually had a great plan for getting the straps in...

Plan failed... Go to plan B ( read the Manuel)

Plan failed...Manuel sucks! Go back to plan A

and time goes by...

What is going on with this dang strap??? How could any kid be safe in this?

Kathy reads the manuel AGAIN...

Kira reads the manuel AGAIN...

More time goes by...

We promise we are not SUPER FRUSTRATED!! *Cheese*

Kyla's getting quite bored...
Finally think we got... Wait, nope not quite. Gotta get it in the car...This took us a while too!

Oh, yeah... FINALLY... Thanks to my super efficient careseat building skills!!!
It only took like 45 min :)

New car seat $100.00
Wasted time $1,000,000
Gloves for my now FROZEN hands $10.00

The look on kira's face when I drove up... PRICELESS!!!!

Oh, so thankful!!!

I am going to apologize in advance for stealing this photo :) I only have good intentions... I promise. This is strickly for "journaling purposes."I was thinking today about how extremely lucky I am to have the friends that I do. We live in an amazing ward and there are a lot of people I would say are "good friends." But I want to take a little spot in my "JOURNAL" to talk about two girls that have changed my life!!

I feel like I can tell these girls ANYTHING!!! and they don't judge me. Often times our conversations end up on more of a spiritual note, and I am so glad that I have them to look up to! Their examples make me want to be better!!! I think every person that crosses your path in life does that for a reason... and it was part of a divine plan!! I am so glad my path crossed with theirs! I love you girls...Thanks for being who you are!!! and hint- if you have a better pic for my journal...send it over :)
