She studies me...
Then she smiles!
A huge one, the best one ever!
I just can't seem to get it on camera. The darn camera is too interesting and she would rather check it out, than smile!
But... SHE along with my other three angels (and the headmaster) are my everything!
When Macy was first born, people would say, "Oh, she is so cute." Than I would feel the need to say. "Thanks, oh and she has down syndrome." (not in a negative way... I just wanted to clear the air in case they wondered.) Than I got past that and thought, why say anything. She is just like anyone else. So I stopped. But now I want to hold her up high, show her to everyone and say... "Look how lucky I am! I have a beautiful baby girl with Down Syndrome!"
I really don't think I am capable of having more love for her than I do RIGHT NOW!

You are truly lucky and she is a DOLL!
She is just so darling and it is so absolutely true, with each passing day, that love grows infinitely more! And then you find, you fall in love with each child and person you meet that has Down syndrome, they are family.Like one of your own and you feel beyond blessed to share such beautiful kinship.
She is so cute! I love the way she is so focused on that stuffed animal!
When Denver was born I was afraid to show him off because I was afraid people wouldn't think he was cute because of his lip. I got over that pretty quickly too.
Oh my goodness!! I can't believe how much she has grown! What a sweet post - it made my day!
