A little "how to" book!

My little guy Tommy, angel # 1, is a writer. Not really, but let me just pretend for a little while!
He wrote this at school, then got help typing it out and making it into a book.
He is giving one as a gift to American Airlines, where he spends a great deal of his time.

I thought it was so cute and clever for a little boy to make a book to help other kids.

Here is his introduction

Then he goes through some rules... ( in the book each rule includes a photo)

1. Stay with the attendant when she walks down to the plane gate.
2. On your first flight in your life, listen to the attendant. They will tell you all the rules you need the know about the airplane.
3. Ask the attendant if she has any jobs you can do if you want to help.
4. If you lose oxygen on the plane a yellow mask will fall in front of you and an adult will help put it on you.
5. If you crash into water unbuckle your seat belt and rip your seat cushion off and use it to float.
6. If you have to use the bathroom you can. The bathrooms are located at the front and back of the airplane.
7. Stay in your seat and play quietly or watch T.V. when you are flying.
8. If somebody says something bad or says private stuff you do not do it. Go tell an attendant. (This was advice from mom)
9. If someone says bad words or hurts you, tell an attendant.
10. When you are getting off the plane you wait up front or stay in your seat until the attendant comes to get you.
11. If someone pushes your chair when you are sitting on the airplane, don't do anything back. Just tell an attendant.

Then he goes on to give some information about different destinations, how long the flight is and what you will need to pack.

I am so proud of you Tommy.

That is about the cutest thing I have ever read. Having been a flight attendant I had lots of little ones fly alone. This book would have been fun for them to read.
