The power of a woman!!!

I got this little card in my sons trick-or-treat bag. Interesting... I never thought of advertising for my blog by business card no less. I never will use mine for that, mostly because I don't have much to offer but my ramblings. But, I was interested and decided to go look at it today. www.bloob.ca . It seems to be your typical "not your average parenting blog" which is actually kind of becoming the average parenting blog, I think. At least I hope most people don't feel like they have to sugar coat their lives, to "fool others." I would say my life is pretty grand! Great husband, Sweet kids, nice home etc etc... but I think it's okay to be real and say, "hey, sometimes it is hard, sometimes I am tired and the infamous, I swear I just washed that crayon off the walls, why is it there again?"

I thought this was HILARIOUS!!! This is why...

THIS... is my hubby! It is quite comical really :) He is worse than my kids when sick, he just wants to be coddled, loved, rubbed... you name it! And I am not to do anything but sit or lay with him :) Bless his heart, right :) I wonder if any of you experience this?

But, when I worked a night shift and only slept 2 hours in the last 24 - he wonders why I am not perky! When I am doubled over in gas pains and I am aching for a RELEASE, he says... you are so unladylike sometimes. And, you can be sure... that as soon as I have this baby, he will be turning down all meals, he will be going to work, and he will wonder why the house is a mess :) Don't get me wrong, it is not that he doesn't care, it is that he doesn't understand. He tries his best I am sure. It is not about love, I am SURE he loves me more today than when we were married, because he still tells me, and mauls me with kisses and wants to cuddle.

He must just think I am super woman... and I guess, that's not such a bad thing!!!
