While at the hospital today, Kyla had to go pee. She is newly potty trained and therefor not aware of the modern highlights of toilets these days.
Well, she was sitting all sweet, doing her thing when out of the blue while she sat... the toilet flushed itself.
Oh man, her eyes met mine so quick and the look on her face was priceless. Like there was a monster in the toilet! hehe
I quickly dissolved the problem by saying, "Oh, did the toilet flush all by itself?" (while holding in my motherly chuckles!)
Well, what do you know a couple seconds later... it flushed again. And this time she broke into tears! Sweet girl!
She is so funny!
Sometimes these little moments are the things that make motherhood so enjoyable!

Jakob won't go pee at the hospital anymore...he is getting a bit better and will go on the ones where he can see me cover up the sensor.
I just read your blog about commenting, so thought I should let you know I often read your blog. I talked to you once at aerobics, but other than that don't know you well. Ryan Richards is my brother and I am in the same ward as Kristy Tanner, so have found your blog that way and can often relate to your words as a fellow mother of a special needs child. Thanks for your thoughts. They often make me smile and sometimes make me cry. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
We are working on PT here too. We have 3 in the class. I think this time 2 might get it but the 3rd is able ready to flunk. Tell Kyla I am so proud of her and that she is such a big girl.
So jealous that Kyla is potty training. Hennessy is a big talker but really has zero interest!
Hopefully I will see you before Christmas!
Those first auto toilet flushes are always good for a laugh with the kids. And yes, you are very lucky she is potty trained. Henry is going to give me the greatest Christmas gift-potty trained!!!
So funny! Sometimes modern technology scares me too!
Funny!
That is the best!!!!! They catch me off guard too although not to the point of tears...anymore ;-) She is so cute. This is a perfect story for when she is older and you need to embarrass her just a little!
That happened to me with Isabel.. It scares her to death.. now she always asks... does this one flush itself?
