Shen Yun, Energy and Sunshine!

While Macy was in the hospital, Barry bought tickets for us to go see Shen Yun Performing Arts. They are a Chinese classical dance company based out of New York. I grew up dancing almost every day in Utah, so I love this sort of thing! I learned some interesting things...
*Chinese Classical Dance is one of the most extensive dance forms second only to Classic Ballet.

*Most of the flips, and stunts you see done in other dance forms, came from Classical Chinese Dance.

It was beautiful and colorful. I had a great time, though Barry was beside himself with boredom! He played on his iphone the whole time! :) I told him after that there are lots of Dance concerts that he would LOVE, so he needs to be more careful when picking one to take me to!

On another note; I headed back to the gym today! There is something about starting your day with a good workout. I always feel so much more energized!

I decided with all that energy and the sunshine we were having, that I would plan a picnic on our back deck and play in the yard with Kyla. Blueberries are Kyla's FAVORITE fruit, she'll eat a whole container and have black poop for two days! Mine "right now" at least is pineapple. It reminds me of hot summer days at Disneyland having my most favorite dessert; a Dole whip (Pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice on top!)
I feel bad Tommy isn't here for it! His favorite thing in the whole world is playing in the yard with the grown ups and having a picnic! But we don't feel too bad, we'll have plenty more days for this and because right now he is having fun in Colorado going snow boarding! So we'll sit here in our little yard, soaking up as much sun as we can (we're bound to get snow again!) and I'll continue getting energized every morning until I am back to my goal weight!

haha... I had to re-read a section a couple of times because I thought that you were saying that you had pineapple poop but then realized you were saying it was your favorite fruit. Whew. It must be late.

Your girls are sooo gorgeous :) I love Macy's chubby cheeks - she is a total doll :) My niece is visiting from Calgary and I guess she knew your hubby growing up and she said she had to show me the cutest little girl with Ds ever :) She brought me to your blog and I told her I'd already seen your cutie via a friend on FB - but that I totally agree - Macy is just precious :) Happy Easter!!!
