This vicious cycle has got a hold on me!

I don't truly enjoy my home unless it is clean. I can't kick my feet up and feel peaceful until it smells good and has a clean and tranquil feel to it.

The not so funny part about this all is... it seems like it is never clean. Which is odd because I swear I clean every day. Some days I get a few rooms feeling perfect... some days the whole house. But I think I have a goblin living in my house because every morning I wake up and the mess is back. So, you ask where am I going with this???

If it was clean every day, and I didn't feel that pull to work on it every day, I would spend my whole day;

-reading to my little girls
-teaching my kids things
-going on adventures either by foot, car or bike
-making these angels smile
-breathing in macy's soft baby skin
-taking walks to the park
-making crafts with them
-baking delicious treats that fill my home with loving smells
-playing games with tommy
-and cuddling up each night before bed to enjoy their clean just bathed smells and cuddle them a little closer!

One day I may get there... and I hope it is not too late!

a little one on one...

Oh I wish I had a personal camera man... to catch the little moments... like tonight.

It is 1:00 in the morning (like the middle of the night). Myself and my 8 year old just got home from our little "date night". (he said, this isn't a date mom... that is gross!) Though he did hold my hand walking in and he said I love you a few times. I call that a pretty sweet date!

Anyway, we went to see "The Karate Kid" and it was so fun! It was a great little movie! We shared a big bucket of popcorn, with peanut m&m's thrown in... of course! Plus with all that sweet and salty we needed a little sour, so we got some sour skittles. Than we washed it all down with non-diet rootbeer... MY FAV! Sorry weight watchers, I had to put you on hold for this special occasion!

These are the special moments that make life SO WORTH LIVING!

-Like how on the way to the theatre we rolled our windows down and turned the radio up nice and loud and Tommy stuck his head right out the window like a puppy!
-Like having two straws in one drink and hands fighting over each handfull of popcorn.
-Like the way he grabbed my hand as we walked into the theatre.
-Like the little triple squeeze I taught him, that dad and I have always done. (you squeeze a hand or leg three times which is our silent way to say I LOVE YOU. Then the other person squeezes four times meaning I LOVE YOU MORE. Barry made it up.)
-Like how on the way home Tommy said, Mom... don't tell dad how good the movie was. It can be our little secret and hey mom, can we do this again really soon!

I love my tommy and love spending one on one time with him!!!

Life is what YOU make it.
If you put 100% in... you are bound to get 100% back!
Something I heard in high school... "Smile, it draws people to you. They want some of what your high on! LIFE!!
Just sharing our sunshine... literally... the rain has stopped and the sun is out! Go soak up some!
