You can help

Does it break your heart to imagine babies and kids being contained to a crib for most of the day and given adult doses of medication to make them "sleep better?"

Does it break your heart to think that a mother and father would leave their 4 month old baby on the side of a river to die because they were too afraid to face the diagnosis of Down Syndrome?

Does it break your heart to think that often around age 4 many of these children are sent to a mental institution... with no chance for adoption and many of them die soon after.

Matthew 25:40 "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Do you feel like there is nothing you can do. I often feel that way! But you can.

THIS is a mother who has already adopted 4 kids with various special needs. She also has a few kids of her own. She is at her limit but is trying to help another mom adopt. Go to her blog for more info on how you can donate and help bring a little girl to a loving home.

If that is still something you are not ready to do... than help change the perception of people with Down Syndrome and other disabilities.
