This morning I tried out my first hair do from this website. http://cute2tryhairdos.blogspot.com/

I think it turned out very cute!

(P.S. Don't mind the scratches on her face, I guess she attacked a cardboard box in nursery on sunday and it must have attacked her back :)

I like this one because it is a headband made out of her own hair, so she can't take it out :)

I am glad Kyla's hair is getting more managable.

I still can't wait till it's even longer :)

What's the major in our lives???

With Christmas over, we are getting excited for a new year.
- A new start
- A second chance to try harder/be better
- A time of reflection and goal setting

We are in ample anticipation of baby # 3! Kathy is starting off this year with a maternity leave, and what better way to start a year? Though, Barry is keeping all of us busy with...
- Moving, then starting to build a Custom Home.
- Continuing work on his new business- Johnny Miller Management.
- Attempting to sale seats to the Dallas Cowboys games.
-Getting ready for another golf season.

A wicked Hit! - Tommy had a great hit at his baseball game the other night. After "sliding" into home base, he stood up gave me a high five and said "YES!" while making a fist thrusting motion!! So funny, that kid! I just love him :) - May 6, 2009

What a trick! - When Kyla fell into Tommy's bath, he said, "Mom, she totally did a front flip and almost landed on her feet again!" - May 10, 2009

Ouch - We were eating at Subway the other day and this is what Tommy Said. "Mom, look my tooth. I bit on something hard in my sandwich but it turned out to be my tooth! Yes, Yes, it out!" He was saying this all with blood dripping from his mouth. - June 6, 2009

Tears - Mom, I haven't seen you in a really long time, and you're my best bud. I want to come home! (all said through tears) -My tears were probably worse though :) - Aug 11, 2009 (one week till Tommy is home!)

Break it down - Lately Tommy likes to take his radio outside and turn on kids bop, way too loud. The other day he said, "I am such a good dancer, me and Carter are teaching Linken how to dance cool like us!" I love that he has found such a good friend like Carter! - Sept 22, 2009

Bite Size! - Kyla's 5th tooth poked through today. No wonder she didn't sleep well! - March 25, 2009

Daintily going forward - Kyla is not quite walking completely yet. But she took her first step near the one year mark. She will now walk a few steps to close furniture or to the middle of the room. Then she will realize she is standing and sit down! Silly Girl! Although, the other day I saw her take 3 steps away from the bath tub, bend down, pick up a toy and stand back up! That is impressive! - March 26, 2009

"Got Milk?" - Every time I ask kyla if she wants a "baba" she smiles really big and then immediately gets the hick-ups! It's really funny :) - March 27, 2009

Up And Going - I have finally decided that Kyla "IS" walking. Yes, sometimes she still chooses to crawl, but... she's walking! Love it! -April 2, 2009

Broken Record - We have noticed lately that Kyla is saying "hi". It's so funny. She'll say, "Hi....Dad, Hi....Mom". - April 26, 2009

I sure do!!! - Kyla has learned to say "yeah!" It's super cute! Even if we know what she is wanting, we will ask her ie; Do you want some fruit snacks?.. We just love to hear her say, "yeah!" - May 1, 2009

Ouch - Tooth number 6 has popped through the surface!!! -May 9, 2009

Dog Lover - Today Kyla heard a dog bark and she got a surprised look on her face than turned to me and said, Pu-ppy! I kept asking her to say it again and again!! - May 11, 2009

Run Forest... Run!! - Kyla has started running. She will do it when she knows she is doing something she shouldn't and I come after her. She's not fast, but it's pretty funny! - June 9, 2009

"N-O spells?" - Kyla's new favorite word in "NO." It's cute when she says it because she scrunches up her nose and pushes her lips out. It's also really funny to watch her shake her head no, because she rolls her eyes to the top of her head when she does it. Such a character! - July 5, 2009

"My what sharp teeth you have..." - How bad is this, I noticed about a week ago that Kyla now has 12 teeth. No wonder she is eating better :) - July 6, 2009

"Pearly whites!" - Kyla's got 14 teeth! It's really cute when she smiles. I love the little gap she has between the front two!

Monkey! - Kyla has figured out how to climb on everything! She will pull chairs or Zoe's Kennell over to the cabinets then climb up on the counter! It is getting hard to keep her contained! Dec 20, 2009
